SourceA county council has painted yellow lines on the inside as well as the outside of a roundabout in Lincoln.
So?
lol! Around a roundabout ... didn't anyone say?
I wonder how much it costs for them to put down those lines anyway.

You wouldn't park on a roundabout, would you, divvo?Lieutenant_Jensen wrote:

Maybe it is just because we are from the US, but that doesn't seem like a big deal to me.tuckergustav wrote:

i don't think (most) americans understand the concept of a roundabout.
So to us Euros, this is pretty funny.

If by roundabout you mean traffic circle, then yes I understand, we have them here too, but it still doesn't seem like a big deal because they painted the lines on the wrong side.FatherTed wrote:

And especially, since it hasn't caused a problem and they aren't going to do anything about it, what is the point in telling us?
What was the point in the BBC publishing it then?jamiet757 wrote:

So it just goes to show that there really are some idiots in the world that need to be informed that you cant park there.Lieutenant_Jensen wrote:

yar, Americans and Glaswegians
At the bottom of my road, in between the substation and the plane engine factory, there is a painted roundabout.
When the guy who was painting it went round too quickly doing the inner layer, he got dizzy and had to sit down.
Then they did the speed bumps, about 3 full sized ones, then, as the road gets thinner at the housey bit, loads smaller ones that do nothing.
And, on a different road, the yellow lines weren't paint at all!!1!one!!1eleven!11! They were some yellow things put stuck on the road.
