I am sure they can survive. besides, unlike me who has to spend every dime I make to survive while having nothing left for retirement because of fica, gas, sin, and other taxes that hit me as a MUCH higher percent of my income than someone making 2 million a year, they can put hundreds of thousands of dollars in tax shelters because it costs them just as much as it costs for me to live and they actually have money left over.
Must be nice to be able to buy your house outright and not have to pay $1200 a month of your $3000 monthy take home on interest.

While I llaughed at her speech, she said NOTHING about the issues, about what she can, has, or will do. I'm with you Kmarion. First time I heard he took her, I thought it was a beautiful ploy. I had never heard about her, but the thought of a female governor running with McCain seemed like a master stroke. Then I heard her speak and realized she is just a former beauty queen who knows nothing. Her speech even reminded me of a pageant winner who talks after they won. They way she gave shout outs to her family like it was a wedding was utterly ridiculous. I believe this election is going to go exactly how Rupert predicted now.

And about her comment on Obama, call me crazy, but I think that comparing being a mayor of a small town in Alaska to ANYTHING is moot and ridiculous. Being a hot dog vendor in Chicago requires more skill than being a mayor of a small town in Alaska.
