My Grandpa just got diagnosed with Prostate Cancer But they've caught it really early so hopefully he'll be ok.

He starts treatment in like 2 months, because he's going to go back to Barbados for a month a so, then come back and have 5 weeks of Radiology.

Anyone else got any experience of this?

There's a guy in my local who got diagnosed with prostate cancer and he thought it was the end for him.

But like you say they caught it early, and today I saw him for the first time in ages and he's fighting fit. I'm sure he'll be ok.

Somewhere, something incredible is waiting to be known.

My grandfather had Prostate cancer for about 20 years..like your grandpa, they caught it early and he was able to live until he was 78 when he finally died from the combination of prostate/spinal cancer.

I really wouldn't feel comfortable in Barbados knowing that I have cancer.... and still have to wait 2 months for my treatment.

hope he recovers 100% tho.

i know how you feel mate,my mothers funeral was last wednesday,she passed away from bone cancer the week before.

as has been said already tho,if its caught early it can usually be sorted,in the not too distant future cancer will be totally curable

Uhm actually, my grandpa too has being diagnosed with Prostate Cancer just 2 about weeks ago
