HD cleaning

Y hallo thar.

I'm about to clean my old hd (250gb), 2 partitions (F and G)because I can have finally enough space on filesavr to keep everything and I dunno if I can just delete everything on it or if I need to keep something (like some serious file there needs to be).

If you installed stuff on it, deinstall that first, and reinstall it afterwards.
If it is only personal data then your ok.

I dunno. The F one used to be my old main hd but I'm using a 500gb one now. So there have been programmes on it, but there's no possibility to deinstall over windows control panel?

Nothing wrong with having a backup of your stuff. Some files are predicated to where you initially install them but it doesn't sound as if this is the case...maybe. Anyway, if you format your old hdd, it will be fine.

I must have done something wrong, when I put it on the microwave to dry, it started sparking and now it won't work!

If you can't fix it, WD40 it. That stuff works on everything!

Why delete all the files off it when you can just format the drive? Assuming it isn't your master drive, you can format it through Windows.
