Basically this man Lawrence Boxrucker was killed in Pearl Harbor but they could not identify his body, till 67 years later, they took dna from his twin brother who happened to be great friends with my grandpa, and was a farmer like 2 houses down from my house. So now they are giving him a full military burial in my little town of Dorchester Saturday, too bad I will be at the badger game and miss it. Still thought this was pretty cool.

No don't skip the game. Sorry, but this is your life. If you're part of a band and need to play at a game, then you need to do that. If you're going to skip that to go to a funeral of some guy you don't even know then that's your problem at the end of the day. As nice as it is, I think you need to worry more about your own problems. People here telling you to skip the game, they don't give a shit about you or your life. They just want to sound like they're telling you to do the right thing but I can tell you, it's not.

As much as I agree with Mek there, this is someone who went to war for your country etc. Would the band fail without you? if you could manage to stay off then do it. If the band needs you then go with the band.

I am sure the soldier would not want you to miss your event. After all, that is what he sacrificed for us. The fact that you care about this at all speaks volumes.

Well I went to the Badger game which was pretty cool but I guess the the ceremony was pretty neat, they flew one of the 11 survivals of the USS Oklahoma from Oregon out to the funeral, heres a vid
