Basically my wireless is not connecting to the wireless network we have set up in my house. My brother's laptop easily connects so it obviously has something to do with my computer.

Whenever I refresh the network list nothing is coming up and I noticed the icon with the two flashing computers in the bottom right hand corner has gone.

Any suggestions on how to fix this?

btw..I lost it yesterday completely randomly.

weak signal? Overheating adapter? I had a Wlan USB stick that often overheated and then would randomly disconnect. Slapped on a ramsink and it now works perfectly
once upon a midnight dreary, while i pron surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of ' hot  xxx galore'. While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.

I'm not getting any signal at all

I'm pretty sure it's a built in card though! Is there anyway of double checking though?

No, I'm asking do you have a desktop or laptop that you are trying to get the wireless working for?

Check to see if the switch is turned on.  Usually, laptops with integrated wireless cards have a switch on the side of the laptop.  Make sure that is on.
