2 gigs of RAM was, and is, the standard for XP. Besides, one should be celebrating that it's not.

Dx10 is a marginal improvement, and uh.. it's XP, no shit there isn't Dx10.

You couldn't just upgrade to Vista, you'd also need more ram if you wanted to play Crysis with directX10 was my point.

How they expect this to run crysis fine is that they expect it to run Warhead fine. Fuck the original Crysis.

Ok, I see your point. I'm in that situation right now actually, I just got Vista for $2 from school but I'm not going to try it until I pick up another 2 gigs of RAM.

On XP and Dx9, Crysis still is the best looking game, and the only direct benefit of DX10 is 'Very High' which will not be hit by any budget box.
