When playing online on ps3 (xbox 360 also i think) what is the numbers that appears next to the player name when doing the faceoff???   

theirs no information about this anywhere...

i love NHL 09, i play it constantly.

umm, the numbers, is i believe (not 100%, just an assumption i've made) are your EASW (EA sports world) points.  You get them for winning faceoffs, goals, etc. etc.  I'm not sure what they do for you in game but when you go to EASW website you can create your avatar which appears in game and you can buy clothing and shit with your points for your avatar.  afaik the numbers don't mean much.
