Ok, so I want to get this baby, but I've got a problem. It runs Vista. I hate Vista, not because I'm used to XP but because, having used it over 100 hours, I am sick and tired of the useless crap Microfuck have put in it, and especially the way it hogs resources. So what I'm asking is, can I switch to XP?
If this were a normal laptop, I'd do it immediately, but given that this is a tablet, will it still work as a tablet?
I seem to recall XP had a tablet version at some point.

You don't have to hate Vista, but remember you get a bunch of bloatware once they hand it over to you, so a reformat might be the way to go. I'm sure you could purchase the Tablet Version of XP off the Internet, somewhere.

Well, ok. I'll grant you that I don't HAVE to hate Vista, but I do.
Any ideas as to who sells XP Tablet?

would a normal version of XP work, i.e. like vista simply has "premium" and no "tablet" moniker?

At my work, we also downgrade Vista notebooks to tablet xp, ask at the company you're ordering if they can do that?
