I'm blowing my mind up because when I uninstalled this dumb ass Software called Photoscape it automatically took off all the JPEG icons out. I can see the the thumbnail preview and the picture itself but I get this:
...
https://img261.imageshack.us/img261/7095/arghnoiconue7.png
*(Disregard the Outlook file... Its for a JPEG... I just used this example of how it looks)*
...
It's like this all over my PC... In Folders, Desktop etc...
I tried Right clicking to Properties and "change" but nothing.
I need to know which ones are the JPGS... and the Icon picture missing like
that, makes it a hassle.
Please anybody... can u help me in this.

Try this Tweak UI
Open it and on the bottom you should see repair and then rebuild icons. maybe it will work.

How can this be? I can DLoad the file without any problems. Its from Microsoft's site, maybe thats the problem.

Open a folder.  Tools > Folder Options > View > Uncheck "Hide extensions for known file types"

It won't bring the icons back but it will let you see which files are .jpg.

control panel>folder options
file types tab
look for .jpg

edit i have 3 file types .jpe .jpeg .jpg which are associated with my jpeg program. so you have have just as many.

if you find it then change the program used to open the file. It used to be Photoscape but what do you use now? Once it is picked the icon should change to whatever program you will be using.
you might have to create an entry for .jpg which is straightforward.
