Google works wonders for error messages.
Edit: that's only after looking through google for about 30 seconds though so keep looking, I've never heard of it before. If you have special forces, try running that as it uses more memory than vanilla, if that is the case, need more RAM. I also saw on a forum someone mentioned it has to do with bf2 mods and restoring your registry....

I doubt i need more RAM i have 4gb of it plus I'm using vista 64bit. Oddly this problem just appeared from nowhere

you running it in xp compatibility mode?
I used to get it when I had a bad stick of ram and tried to load any 64 player vehicle maps
