I said I knew it wasnt C, i said there were parts that LOOK LIKE C. And I'm only like 2 weeks into programming so I don't really know a lot about it

Yeah. I'm seriously reconsidering whether I want to even bother with it this year.

I'll be quite happy with an XPPro/OSX switch on the side of my case.

I wouldnt actually mind it looking like Vista, as I rather enjoy its visual charms, however I do not enjoy the lack of ahrdware support for my older stuff and the performence decrease vs XP.

On a side note, dont 95 and 98 look nearly the same? Same basic interface, yet people still enjoyed it, if anything Id rather have an XP clone with support for the newer stuff, rather then a super fancy graphical interface that kills performence

Why judge development versions of operating systems on appearance? Interfaces are modified all through the development cycle. What matters is the system underneath, and screenshots of purdy colours aren't going to reveal much in that regard.
