Vista colour schemes help.

I used to have my colour scheme set to Windows Aero, then I could choose different colours, I chose graphite.

Anyway just notice after playing bf2142 for the first time on this pc that my colour scheme has changed to Windows Vista Basic, now the standard colour is a light blue.

I cant chose my old settings as everytime I try to apply my old settings it reverts to this new vista basic.

Anyone know whats going on?

Edit: Problem solved, it was because BF2142 wasn't compatible with the Aero theme on Vista, closed BF2142 and settings reverted to how I wanted them. Pretty obvious.

Try running 2142 in Compatibility mode?
Or does Aero not work BECAUSE it's in compatibility mode?

They can't run at the same time (Aero does use your graphics card, y'know), so Vista turns it off temporarily.

Sounds like he was trying to change his Aero theme while it was in the temporary off state.

Yeah I realised I had 2142 minimised to the taskbar, had previously Alt+Tab'd and forgotten about it.

yeh I've noticed this aswelll, actually while tabbed out with bf2 open. It's almost annoying as it makes vista look cheap. XD
