How to install case fan...?

Do I use the molex connectors from the PSU, or do I use the 3 pin connector on the motherboard? I'm planning to install multiple case fans (my case really needs the help - my CPU runs at 69 degrees).

*And how many of these molex connectors can I string together?

Use the molex connectors from the PSU if you want them on max all the time, if you plug them into the mobo you should be able to change the rpm via software (I think.)

If you only use the connectors from the PSU the fan will run at high speed constantly ... if using the connectors on the mobo you can adjust the speed via speedfan or some other similar program ... depends what connectors are on the mobo, the PSU and the fan ... it can be 2,3 or 4 connectors ...

Or install a fancontrol ...

depends on the fan, some come with molex, some with 3 pin. You can daisy chain as many molex connectors as you want

you can always cut new holes ...
Just make sure you have enough mobo headers and molex to 3pin adapters if you're getting 3-pin fans
