I don't weigh that much but I don't gain weight easily even though I eat like a horse..I don't look gangly though because of all the sport I did when I was a kid. Going to get back into it now at uni since IB is now over.. Also been lifting a lot of weights in the gym lately.
How old are you? I was 188 tall when I was 17 and a complete stick with 60 kilos on me. In a year, and the first two weeks in the army and I actually got 5kg more weight when other teenagers lost some weight My weight didn't either go up no matter how much I ate and exercised. With age it has been slowly going up in odd 5kg amounts every now and then. So now I'm 29 and 88-90kg. Gotta keep up with them sports so the missus won't start complaining like the damn doc at the last inspection. You have cholesterol and your liver score is horrible you bla bla this and nag nag that.

Well, to start with I cut back from eating McDonalds for lunch during the week. Then instead of buying two packets of sandwiches and maybe a bag of crisps for lunch I would just buy 1 packet and no crisps. I would make sure that the sandwiches that I ate were not the fast bastard ones, i.e. Club sandwich. I also cut out fizzy drinks and just drank water for ages.

I joined the gym and went twice a week for about 4 months on and off while also playing football twice a week. At the gym I would spend 20 minutes on the cross trainer and then do about 20 minutes of weights. I would have been able to lose a hell of a lot more at the point in time but I totally fecked my back doing some fancy sit-ups and was out of action for about a month.

The gym then closed down but I was lucky enough to start playing football with another group of guys on a monday and wednesday night, so now I play football 4 times a week.

But I think it is all about just watching what I am eating and then making sure that if I have a bad weekend of food and drink, then I MUST have a good week of healthy eating and really push myself during the football game.
