$104 for tow and 2 front tires.  The replaced the front tires with Michellen's.  They also found a screw in the back right tire but they patched it good.

Ouch!

Surely those tyres weren't even close to being road legal?

That happened in a truck I got.  It was all my fault too

$100 for a tow and two tires is damn good.  One tire for my Saab is at least twice that.

Someone should look closely at the back of the tow truck.    I noticed it while being towed.

naw, they should be replaced... but you honestly could go quite a while longer on them.

And its really only the shoulder that is worn... Check your fucking tire pressure man... Thats likely why they came off in the first place.
Is the wear like that on both edges on the tread or just the outside? If only the outside get your car aligned... Otherwise quit running them with no air.

You should check the steering links on your car seeing as the tires as are so unevenly worn on the out side ...

OHH! beat you too it!

I am betting its like that on both sides from low tire pressure though, the only time I have ripped the tire off the bead was when the pressure was too way too low.

When pressure is too low, the sidewalls do most of the support, and the edges wear faster... when the pressure is too high the middle of the tread tends to balloon out slightly so the middle wears quicker. If just one edge is worn its most likely that you toe is out of alignment.
(not aimed at you varegg, just figured I would throw that out there...)

Look at the second picture, seems to be only on the outside to me ... if on both sides surely to low tire pressure ...

You may be right, its kinda hard to tell.

Edit:
Alright, now I am curious...  Naturn you need to settle this... Was the inside worn too?
The second picture doesn't really show any wear, but with the fact that the tire came off the bead while the car has no other crash damage... and the fact that the wear is so smooth and rounded I still think its low pressure wear....

WHO WILL BE THE WINNER!
