So I'm playing on this server tonight, "Clanless BF2 Ranked Server", and after their 100th strafing run on our only base (the uncappable carrier on Wake), one of our guys breaks through and drops a bomb on ONE of their FIVE flags and kills a clan member. Immediately he gets a warning. A few of us bring up the fact that they've been doing this to us the entire round. We are all warned. A few are kicked and come back. [CL] Ricky008 doesn't like it much when a colonel is getting put in his place by a bunch of enlisted men.
We are then informed of the big rule: You may not kill anyone in a spawn point (unless of course you're on their team). So we must now wait for them to run away from their flags and assume the "it's okay to kill me now" stance on some obscure part of the map.
Some of us complain and the kicks and bans begin to flow freely throughout the server. I would have complained myself, but was too busy fighting the two guys camped on our uncappable carrier that kept fragging me everytime I spawned. Little wicky008 must have sensed that I was about to complain, and I was banned as well.
At first it seemed like kind of a shame. I've played on this server before and not had a problem. I can only assume that little ricky-poo doesn't like to lose and has maintained his illustrious career by kicking anyone except the greenest noobs. With further reflection, now I can feel at ease knowing he's removed a little more of the aggravation of tyrannical child-admins from my life. Everyone gets pwned from time to time. Those of us who have reached puberty can handle it gracefully.
