How many seconds does it take to activate the claymore?

And how long do claymores stay after the placer dies?

And yes I am THE Nyte.

The real question is how many teammates can kill themselves on your claymores while you're trying to get basic ordinance badge.

i think three.  same goes for AT mines.

i'm not sure exactly how long they stay, but i think it's a minimum of 30 seconds.  there've been a few times when i've died, then gone back to where i died and my claymores were still there.  so...15 seconds plus however long it took me to get there.

I am not certain but it seems like the claymore has about a 3-5 second arming time.

I haven't figured this one out.  Sometimes they seem to last well after your death and other times they appear to go away quickly.

enough time (use your pistol for the up-close battles...not claymores...better yet, avoid the up-close battles)

plenty of time to kill the guy who just killed you (or until you place more)

I spawned at a point that had two AT guys trying to cap it, so I jumped around and placed a claymore infront of each of them.

I died, but as I lay there one AT guy exploded nearly instantly, while the other guy I think froze up and didn't move for a few moments but he died pretty soon as well.

So I suppose that means they are motion sensing. That is, if you place a claymore infront of an enemy, it will not go off until that enemy moves a bit. (also, that round, I was commanding, we won, and I got a bronze star)

They last 60 secs after death. Arm after 3, but just don't be near them after you place them. Unless FF is off of course.

don't they disappear when your previosu kit disappears? for example, if die after placing c4, but then respawn nearby you can run to your old kit and try to grab it to set off the c4, however if you don't make the c4 disappears at the same time as the kit bag

One time I laid some claymores, died, spawned as support, died shortly after, then spawned as a different kit and shortly after I got a claymore kill.. so they stay for a while.

as long as the "kit" that placed the clays or mines is still "avaible" the mines clays will still stay
when the "kit" desapieers the mines will disapper 2
