House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has directed nearly $100,000 from her political action committee to her husband's real estate and investment firm over the past decade, a practice of paying a spouse with political donations that she voted to ban last year.

The payments have quadrupled since Mr. Pelosi took over as treasurer of his wife's committee in 2007, Federal Election Commission records show. FLS is on track to take in $48,000 in payments this year alone - eight times as much as it received annually from 2000 to 2005, when the committee was run by another treasurer.

Unfortunately this shit happens everywhere. Our politicians rent offices from their wives at 10 times the going rate. English politicians hire their sons as "researchers" to fund their party upper class lifestyle.

Sooner or later you have to realize that 99% of politicians get into the job for personal power and gain. The people are way down their list of priorities after sorting themselves and their own out in life.

People defend their "side" to the death and lambaste the other side. Were as there is little difference between all politicians.

When did I say anything about "left-wing media conspiracy"? Washington Post is well-known as a right-leaning rag. The others I mentioned are well-known left-leaning rags. If you don't think newspapers print or don't print stuff to match their ideology, you're on crack.
