I think you are perhaps thinking a bit too realistically? It's a game. So people do it, not often and usually to get rid of that tank/apc who is just sitting outside a spawn area happily killing away, most of the time the jeep driver dies anyway...with this latest patch armour have even more of an advantage with no c4 tossing and the increased prone times etc. It's not like anti tank guys complain that their anti tank missile doesnt take out armour in one hit....that'd be realistic too...but you wouldn't like that would you? Why would anyone ever want to see jihad jeeps eliminated? Half of the fun belongs to their intended victim as they try to shoot incoming, wired transports before they get close enough to explode.
Nothing more satisfying in BF2 than watching a suicide bomber's C4 take out a half a dozen of his friendlies...

It's as simple as this, suicide bombing in a jeep is retarded, and you should be kicked, banned, your account should be deleted and your CD key should be locked.
Why? It is the most unrealisic, cheepest way to get a kill ever. Sure, terrorists do it all the time, but when they do it, they can't respawn and do it again 15 seconds later. Then there's those of you who are like "I jump out and get away before I blow it up", you try jump out of a vehicle going 40+ mph and survive. If you do this, you shouldn't be able to spawn until the round is over, because your a moron, learn how to use C4.
Finally, require C4 to stick to a vehicle to blow it up is retarded, it's like making a rocket has 2 ft of splash damage. It's a crappy way to fix a crappy exploit that people abuse, C4 blows up and it makes a big boom, if I set two off underneath a vehicle, it should blow up.
On a side no so I don't get flamed, you "should" be able to blow up a guy at medium-long range with a guided rocket no problem, but you SHOULDNT be able to carry 5 of these and you SHOULDNT be able to reload it in < 10 seconds, so you gotta ballance it somewhere.

Well I think the original topic poster wants to rack up more points by camping and destroying infantry so much that his team has to move to another location just to get a point, he has tunnel-vision and doesn't see the Jeeps. He is one of many that thinks he shouldn't be destroyed, but the destroyer and gets mad when he does.
Take it like this; It takes at least 2 hits from AT and a sprinter of SPec Ops to get to a tank and if you have your eyes peeled it will be very hard to take down, but with a Jihad, its fast simple and works.
I enjoy the ATV, really quick and small, aiming for the ATV takes skill within itself, I can eliminate tanks until that person decides its not worth it anymore to drive a tank.

Also if you said that infantry can't carry 5 rockets, well they can actually carry more, and you ever hear of mortars, how about ONE rocket destroying a tank?
