...why does my 4-4-4-13 XMS2 ram appear to be running at 5-5-5-18? Everest Ultimate seems to be indicating this, how do i actually verify what my ram is running at, and, if it is running at 5-5-5-18 how do i set it to the lower latency?

I have the sticks in channels 1 and 3 on the mobo and the boot screen says they're running dual channel interleaved so i assume i done it right, don't get me wrong, the computer seems to running super quick but this annoys me a little bit because i paid the extra for the better timings.

key in the values manually in your bios. Often the BIOS misinterprets or the SPD values are set at a higher latency to make "overclocking" to non jedec approved speeds easier

If your BIOS doesn't read "Ctrl+F1: Launch Nukes" or something like that down the bottom, then it will unlock the advanced options in BIOS eg. memory timings.

usually it's: press del to enter, select advanced bios and you can put in the values there. Sometimes you have to turn the auto OC settings to manual to get all options. Just look around

So i'm getting round to sorting out this memory timing issue, i followed the link Afroman kindly gave me and i assume from this data;

AI Tuning = Manual
Overclock Options = Enabled

Overclocking

CPU Frequency = 200Mhz
CPU Multiplier = Auto
Memory Clock Frequency = 800Mhz
PCIEX16_1 Clock = 100Mhz
PCIEX16_2 Clock = 100Mhz
CPU<->NB HT Speed = 5 X
NB to SB HT Frequency = 200Mhz
NB --> SB HT SPeed = 5X
CPU<--> NB HT Width = ▲16 ▼16
CPU Voltage Range = Auto
CPU Voltage = Auto
DDR2 Voltage Control = 2.1v
HT Link Voltage = Auto
North Bridge Voltage = Auto
South Bridge Voltage = Auto
South Bridge PLL = Auto
DDR2 Controller Ref Voltage = Auto
DDR2 Channel A Ref Voltage = Auto
DDR2 Channel B Ref Voltage = Auto

Memory Timing

SLI-Ready Memory = Disabled
tCL = 4
tRCD = 4
tRP = 4
tRAS = 12
Width of DRAM Interface = 64-bit
1T/2T Memory Timing = 2T
I'm only interested in the Memory Timing part at the bottom, correct?
