There are certain character that can be entered into the tag field that causes your name to be orange.

Changing your name color is generally looked down apon and will usually result in getting kicked or banned from a server.

i know how to do it 2... i can make it orange normaly... orange and rly big ... or normal like no orange color but only big... buutt i can tell you because all bf2 player will do it ... and i dont think EA will ban account because i dont think its a hack ... i think it is a part of the game that EA dont tell and now peeps are doing it because if EA dosent created orange name... who do you want it to be possible to do it !!! so yea.....

google it... it will tell you. I think EA frowns upon this because it is modifying files, and any modification is a no no.. I'll talk on the EA forums about it. But watch out, many servers it is an automatic ban, but the one I admin, I really don't care, if EA doesn't.

yeah id say search it on google, that is how i figured it out. you have to get the "Certan Symbol" in to your prefix box. but ingame you cannot put the symbol in there. you need to place it in a file and stuff. Look on google it will tell you how to do it. thats how i figured out how to do it and i dont think its annoing and neither is the big text. and here is a hing It is NOT alt F4.

Shit, now everyone is going to have HUGE ORANGE names, it is already getting popular. It's an eyesore, they should have a turn-off mode with all the scrolling going on, it should just be the commander and squad doing shit, not everyone else. I had a name so big that it took the whole screen and everyone was bitching, it didn't bother me because I was counting down from 15...

this was unnecessary because if you read my first post it shows that at the time I had no clue that it was a hack/exploit , in fact I thought it was legal and you just put something in the tag before your acct name.

it may be a hack or exploit technically but think about it, should it really be illegal for someone to have a different color name?? I think it is a cool idea and promotes diversity to have different color names.

Anyway thanks for your responses, I'm not going to do it because it is too much work to just have an orange name, and i don't wanna risk losing my account, and i don't wanna get banned. but it is cool to know that the other people w/ orange names, and etc aren't special people who have a special award or something.
