Internet acces controller thingy

Anybody know of a program that I could use to disable/enable Internet connection from other computer? I'd need it to disable my other PC that my brother and sister are using when I'm playing games on my own PC.

Both are connected through DLink DI-524 router.

Would also be useful if there's an option to see what site the other PC is on, so I can monitor what my little sister is doing. She seems to look at some dodgy sites sometimes, gotten few viruses from them too.

Something like what they use at schools. Preferably free one.

not easily, if you want the simple answer. unless you really understand how networking and routing works, there probably isn't any easy way for you to do it. if the router is in the same room as you, just unplug her network cable when you want to play. as far as monitoring her web usage, if your router doesn't have the ability to do this, you need to set up a routing service on one of the other computers, so her traffic is routed through it so you can capture her web activity.

Since it is your computer, the easiest thing to do is to tell your brothers and sisters when they can and cannot use the computer.

As for tracking web sites, the browser on your other computer will maintain a history of sites visited:

Firefox: Ctrl-H
IE: Ctrl-Shift-H

On the little sister note: just tell her you are monitoring her usage to encourage her to not look at dodgy sites and teach her a bit about internet security and how to recognise a legit site. Spying on her usage without her knowing is an invasion of privacy.

set up a program like vncviewer so you watch everything she does

just set up the server on her pc and make it start on startup
then connect using your pc to watch

thats what i do on my pc for my server
