Okay so im at school right now with my laptop and i would like to retrieve my movie montage which i uploaded on a torrent site to share with friends and co-workers... But it dont seems to work, even if i have seeds, to dwl won't start  :s I think its the school network(wireless) that may block this in some way. Is there a proxy server that i need to enable? Im using a simple program : uTorrent....

Your school might (probably has) blocked the port needed for torrents, I think you can change the port in µtorrent somewhere, though.

Open the port settings in uTorrent. There is a button to see if the port has been properly forwarded.

I would be willing to bet that your typical downloading ports will have been disabled, though.

Thar you go.

It downloads the torrent to their server, then hands it off to you over a standard HTTP connection

It's really smart in that it can send the file pieces over to Your computer AS it downlaods the torrent(Ie through a standard Download manager)
