I need to build a computer for work, the specs need to be minimum

1.6 dual core processor
2gb ram
120 gb hdd
CD drive
DVD drive (seperate to the CD)
Parralel printer port
Network connection

I will probably buy the parts from micro direct.com and i will also need a cheap case

any help is appreciated

just realised i didnt put that i need a PSU and anything else that might be needed for a new build, ow ye and cheaper is better it just all needs to be compatable

if you don't need anything crazy, get something along the lines of
e5200 (doesn't have VT support though) - cheapest 45nm core2 CPU, low power use, easy to cool, pretty nice to overclock
G31 based mobo - cheap with integrated graphics
2 or 4GB ram depending on what you need
pretty much any SATA HDD will do
2xDVD-rw - I'd get sata ones
PCI parallel port card
network is already integrated into the mobo

Case is always a matter of taste,  I would go for something like a antec solo
once upon a midnight dreary, while i pron surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of ' hot  xxx galore'. While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.
