i like piloting the bh into the ground with 5 teammates in it

Nothing anymore. It used to be fun, now it's just boring.
And it wasn't overpowered before. Unless you had people with the right kits, in the right slots, against a good Vodnik gunner you were as good as dead. Now, with less hitpoints on choppers, it goes down even faster. The good guns are needed even more now that the AA is better and helis have fewer hitpoints, but alas, they are worse.
All heli guns need explosive rounds, its too damn hard to be accurate at range, moving as quickly as you do, spinning around hoping the pilot doesn't do something you don't anticipate. As it is now, the Blackhawk completely sucks compared to any infantry weapons.
Oh well, glad I had the opportunity to use the Blackhawk pre-1.2. My 2nd best round (212) and best kill streak (77) were in a Blackhawk. Now I wouldn't touch one with a 10 ft. pole.
