I think it would be cool if you could mix up your own player. Kinda like in Sims 2 or something, but not as flaming. I'm not talking about Battlefield Vietnam player customization that was simply a black or a white guy with a different hat. I am talking about choosing anything from the boots to the sunglasses that your new baddass commando is wearing. What do you guys think? I know this won't be a BF2 feature, but maybe a BF3? What would you guys want as a feature?

i think that would be nice....the only prob is EA/DICE gotta rewrite the whole damn program for it.

I don't think it would require a rewrite, just lots of new code. It just isn't worth it, honestly are you ever going to notice it? You can't see yourself, and do you think the enemy is going to stop to check out your sunglasses? It seems like a pointless feature to me, sure it might sound cool but hell if I'll ever use it realy.

there is one game that lets you completely modify you player skin. it called Soldner. you can modify pretty much anything, boots, knee/elbow pads, LBV, head gear, BDU (dif. styles), face, ethnicity, tac gloves, etc.Mr.Pieeater wrote:

Homer would be an easy target, I can see you K/D ratio falling by the minute. LOL! Every noob would be like, "Hey shoot the fat yellow one." And could you imagine Homer's sprint capability? It would be like an Anit-Tank soldier carrying a Support soldier on his back.

It would be kinda cool if they could add a pilot skin available to any kit.I bet the pilots would use them alot and it would be great to catch one on the ground.
I want a tuxedo skin. Then you can play as James Bond. But you'd be limited to using pistols only, obviously.
Simple skin selection options would be nice; maybe have two versions per army/kit. However, it would just be more textures for people to render.
