Posted this before but didn't get it fixed. Basically when I view Chinese symbols on webpages they show as little boxes with numbers inside them.

Same with special characters for invisible spaces and music symbols and things like that.

You need to download the extra languages packages on your windows cd.

also, regarding missing characters, how come we haven't seen "The Lizard" in any of the Spiderman movies, that guy was awesome.

My windows CD is very old. From one of my old Fujitsu PC's and is scratched etc haha. Can I find them online?

(but as I said, it's the language packs from your windows cd that would correct the problem)

Hmmm... the characters I really want are not any language I don't think, but they show up the same error as Chinese ones.

Might be my thread, about page 13ish of Tech, it was to search for "Character drivers" or similar. But I couldn't find anything = /

Redownload an xp disc from a torrent site and install the language packs...or there might even be a windows update for language packs
