As the topic suggests, this is only for your primary OS, the one you spend the most time in front of. Vista/XP dual boot is there because it's a quite popular solution.

I know there have been posts like this before, but the OS status changes all the time, and no poll is really valid for more than a month or two.

As for me, I run Vista on my gaming machine/laptop and XP on my server. Voted Vista.
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

Vista 64, yuck!

I ran it for two months, and just the other day, I changed to x86. Even Vista-certified programs won't find it as an OS, for the sake of global economy! And the forced driver signing drove me nuts. Vista 32 > Vista 64 tbh.

Vista 32, although I'm thinking of going back to XP on my laptop thanks to a bug in Vista connecting to some WPA networks.

Vista 32bit primarily.
once upon a midnight dreary, while i pron surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of ' hot  xxx galore'. While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.

XP Professional x64 also.

bit of a PITA to get drivers sometimes (tip: vista 64 drivers generally work),

but it's hands-down the best workstation/non-server operating system Microsoft has ever put out.
Must be why they had to bury it.. too good.

You know, XP 64 is just Server 2003 with a shell
