I've got news for you FEOS: although political conservatism and racism are by no means one and the same thing they have long been cosy bedfellows.FEOS wrote:

Perhaps you misunderstood my original post... I never meant to imply that there was any deliberate intent from GWB to fan the flames of racism around the world, it just so happens that his foreign policy and the replacement of Communists with Muslims has inadvertently had this exact knock-on effect. Add an economic crisis to the mix and you have a great recipe for increased nationalism and hatred towards 'untrustworthy' outsiders... just ask any German around the time of the Weimar Republic!FEOS wrote:
The word "ultra-right" is nowhere in the above post.
Despite your low opinion of him, GWB is far to the left of the pointy-white-hatted crowd.
Also, right, hard-right and ultra-right are all on the wrong side of the racist spectrum... obviously a moderate right-wing conservative isn't automatically a racist but right-wing conservatism ultimately results in racism when you go far enough in that political direction (in most European countries at least, America may be different because of the melting-pot nature of its own national identity).
British National Party A white's only party that prides itself on British Nationalism and conservative ideals.
The Nazi Party Well we all know about these guys... no gays, no Jews, no disabled, no gypsies etc.
Alliance For The Future Of Austria Jorg Haider's old party, looking out for Austrian values in an age of immigration and upheaval.
Serbian Democratic Party Radovan Karadžić's old party... nice guys once you get to know them.
Ataka (National Attack Union) Bulgarian right-wing party... looking out for the 'fatherland' supposedly.
French National Front Jean-Marie Le Pen's party, this guy didn't even want Zidane to play for France!
All of these right-wing Nationalist parties claim their beliefs are based on conservative values and principles.
