My iPod earbuds died a while back and I haven't really been listening to music as much with the giant Sony headphones I have now.

Looking to spend no more than $60 Can. What brand should I be looking at?

Thanks in advance.

Those things cost $120 in Future shop X(

My personal recommendation would be the Skullcandy Titans from London Drugs, I dunno about now, but they had a $10 off sale which put them at $58 WITH tax.(In BC tho) But that was a month ago so I'm not sure if the sale is still on.

I've been reading up on the Sennheiser CX 300b's. The reviews say that if you brush against the cord or disturb the jack while you're listening to it, the noise it makes is unbearable. I was planning to use them while working out so these don't seem to work if cord movement destroys the sound.

lol at that newegg review....
they work effortlessly with any of my iPods, as well as with my Nomad Zen and iRiver disc player.
Plugging in other headphones requires much more effort?

Sony MDR-EX75's are $69 fucking dollars in Canada. I went to amazon.com to see if they have them. $40 dollars and they won't ship to Canada. Why do we have to be fucking ripped off for everything.

Creatives are shit. Always have been.

The best are Sennheiser, Bose, Etymotic and Sure.
Those are the most expensive though....Jays, Denon and some other brands are still pretty damn good.

Check these nice ones out : http://www.jays.se/products.aspx

For Sennheiser I don't advise anything below a certain price tag - $80. You wont be getting much out headphones from them that are cheaper than that. Sure is out of your league, Etymotic is very picky and Bose is too expensive. I advise Jays.

@Zimmer  I don't think those Jays would be available to Canada would they? Depending on how much I get for my Birthday, what would you recommend in the $100 range for Sennheiser or Shure?

@Morpheus  I'll wait and see if I get any gift certificates/enough money for my Birthday on Sunday. I might go for those $99 Shure's.

I get the Shure 110s from Future Shop for $60 on sale.  They're incredible, really good sound cancelling and way better quality than anyone elses earbuds I've used.  The only thing that bugs me is that you have to compress the foam, put it in your ear and let it expand again every time you put them in so it takes like 30 seconds to put them on every time.  Minor I suppose, but irritating nonetheless.

They also have rubber inserts, instead of foam. Or you can get custom-molded inserts, made specifically for your ear canal....

Doesn't say there's a sale on the website. Maybe it's just at your local stores.
