What about that comment was mature? I wasn't finishing his post, either. I was replying suggesting an additional reason.DBBrinson1 wrote:

Why do you think that is? He is torn. Stuck in the middle it would seem.san4 wrote:
I think there is a place for attacking the opposing candidate, but it can't work for McCain unless he explains what would be good about a McCain presidency. That's really hard for him at this point because he's been inconsistent and erratic throughout the campaign. No one wants an inconsistent and erratic President. McCain could have presented a better case for himself, but it's too late now.Kmarion wrote:
McCain is looking back (or at least his supporters want him too). Obama is talking about the future. That is why Obama is pulling it. Thats the way it is whether you agree with it or not. The Dow lost another trillion today.. people want to know what is going to happen with their financial security. They care more about that and it's why McCain should focus on the immediate issues.DBBrinson1 wrote:
I doubt I'll even watch it. McCain refuses to drive home serious character flaws in Obama's with respect to his idealogy and integrity. It's fricking sad. I also think America is ready to vote.

It was against McCain. But if that wasn't the case, you could explain why you thought it wasn't a real contribution.Kmarion wrote:

I could care less about your empty remarks. But if they don't actually contribute to the discussion I will continue to call them out. You didn't give an example of what he would say. Your reply amounted to "oh yea, well Obama will be better".. that is why you sounded like nothing but a cheerleader. Got it?nukchebi0 wrote:

In case you haven't heard I'm not voting for McCain.

Not really. I don't see how raising a point contributes nothing to a thread. I was just commenting that Obama does have ammo (which he does, and its rather obvious he does), and McCain might not want to engage in such a battle. I was not cheering on Obama at all, unless that was the impression you wanted to get out of the post. But if you need examples, try Gordon Liddy or the OCA.Kmarion wrote:

Your posts hide that well.In case you haven't heard I'm not voting for McCain.
Edit: Since this probably should be on topic a bit, this debate is way better than the other two, so far. Much more attacking and actual debating than previously.

Aside from having said it out right more than once I have been critical (and defended) both candidates. You either haven't paid attention or your memory is very selective. In case you haven't heard I'm not voting for McCain.

Do I really have to laundry list them, or does Gordon Liddy's status as a convicted felon and his blatant disregard of the Constitution suffice?Kmarion wrote:

Maybe I haven't seen the posts that you mentioned any support for Obama. The majority of the posts of yours I've seen are on the contrary. Maybe it is because they are in the pro-Obama threads - I'm not sure - but regardless, that is the perception I have got.Aside from having said it out right more than once I have been critical (and defended) both candidates. Ha. She probably reminds you a Mom you either a) wish you had or b)have but hate and can't understand why other people LOVE her.Nuk wrote:

Obama mentioned China currency manipulation to influence trade... thank you.. thank you. To hell with "most favored" trade status.

I think Liddy is worse than those two combined, due to the nature of the relationship between McCain and Liddy when compared to Obama's "relationship" with Ayers and Wright. I was under the impression that McCain and Liddy are actually kind of chummy, and Liddy has a history of making some outrageous comments with respect to the U.S. government ("when the ATF comes, aim for the head..."), not to mention his jailtime after Watergate...DBBrinson1 wrote:

Really enjoying this debate.
Obama is doing exactly what he has to, and McCain isn't focusing on the economy as he should.
