why do you need it? vista has its own search function that indexes just like google desktop.

I dont even use it for the sidebar (or the sidebar in Vista period) ... thats just a novelty. Its search extensibility and pluggins are what makes it so great. You can extend Windows/Microsoft Search / Index Server (whatever they changed the name to this time) but its more of a pain in the ass and there isn't nearly as much existing (free) stuff.haffeysucks wrote:
