OK, so here is my problem. I downloaded trough Windows Update few DreamScenes. The problem is, that when i want to apply them, i get strange error -
"The video file format is not supported, or there was an error decoding this video file"
The most gay thing is, that when i open the DreamScene folder and open those videos ( they are in .mpg extension) manually via WMP 11, they are playing OK!!! WTF? My graphics are GF8600GT.
I tried everything:
- downloading newest drivers from official nvidia site
- trying to run it with K-lite codecs installed
- trying to run it with Vista Codec Pack installed
- trying to run it with no 3rd party codecs at all
Still nothing! WTF? When I want to put some low quality videos, like the 'example movies' installed with vista (like bear.wmv etc) it works fine. Help.... googling didnt solve the problem
Of course i did many restarts between codecs installing and unistalling.
