I have the ipod (the new nano - 8 gigs) with music/ podcasts on it, but My computer died. Redownloaded itunes etc, but how can I get my music off my ipod onto my computer?

I'm not sure if the newer versions of it support the new iPods, but that's what I used to use on my Shuffle.

musicrescue doesn't work with the touches, but i don't know about the nanos. try it out.
edit: apparently they work with every ipod now! use it.

I just did this myself (reformatted a lappy and had to add my iPod tunes), I "acquired" TuneAid, it restored 20GB of music back onto the lappy, I was pretty impressed.
