Well I exaggerated a bit, but in my town, which is the richest town in North America, no one gives a fuck about what there kids do so we're all out of control party animals.

I live in a pretty small town >17000 population.

i can tell you from experience, people rarely change.  I hope for both of you that she has learned, but I wouldn't count on it.

I live well below the poverty line atm (both parents unemployed)
I work Full time at my jobs, and go to highschool.
I have saved every penny from work for Post Secondary, while EVERYONE I know has mommy and daddy paying for their schooling, and thats if they actually want to make a living themselves and not mooch off their parents.

lol why wouldn't their parents pay for it if they have the money? And weren't you the one who made a post like 2 months ago about drinking for the first time and doing weed for the first time?

Why does the OP have to face the criticism if he doesn't want to associate with those who drink or do drugs? I applaud him for having standards.

I went through all of high school avoiding the peer pressure to drink or do drugs because those so many idiotic kids get the idea that it makes them "cool". Bull-effing-shoot. There's not much good that can come from getting involved in those things, and getting involved before it is even legal for you to do so is an even less intelligent decision. I see the same things in college, people who don't realized that they are being forced to drink and participate in things they don't want to do. They have to force themselves to think "golly gee, alcohol sure is the bees knees" just because society has shoved that message down our throats for decades. It's a load of hogwash, I say. There are plenty of ways to live a complete and fulfilling existence without delving into the realm of drugs. I still have to witness my friends poor life choices who have done this, and I pity them. Is it too much to expect your friends to have some kind of standards, either? Not by a long shot.

To OP: You don't have to tell her, "I told you so" (and probably shouldn't), but you tell us you've tried to steer her clear of that, and it didn't work. She made and will have to live with her decisions.
