So a civic tuned to within an inch of its life beats a relatively standard GT-R. Not exactly surprising is it
Spend the same amount on the GT-R and it'll be another forgone conclusion.

I would not choose the civic if there is any curves,hills,braking.... So maybe to do a drag i would beat the shit out of it.
I like the civic ... take all the markings off, get it dirty .. nice sleeper
So you would rather spend $100,000 dollars on the Skyline then $30,000 dollars on the Civic?Slarty wrote:

That is a 2JZ motor in a s2000 not the F20C or F22C.Private_Adam wrote:

all a civic is good for is a daily driver. i have a civic. i average 38 miles a gallon. sometimes i get 40. i'll never try to upgrade it.
what my brother did was take an 87 mustang 5.0, stripped everything out of it, custom built the engine, suspension, rear end and whatever the hell else he could do to it. less than 20,000 and it has almost 600 horsepower. it's not turbo charged yet like he is thinking about doing which will up the hp a lot. 0-60 in about 3 seconds. much better thing to do for your money
