BF2S Forums No BF3!

This topic is based mainly on one quote:

And, there is no BF3, that’s just a rumor.

Translation: "BF3 is unannounced at the current time.  Maybe it will exist at some point, maybe it won't.  Maybe we're working on it at the current time, maybe we're not.  If we are working on it, we will announce it when the time is right."

I.e. the quote doesn't confirm or deny BF3's existence.  It's basically a non-statement (as is required if you work in games, most of the time).

It's very disappointing that they are not announcing a Battlefield 3...
I really blame them for that, they must not think that they can convince me with some silly kid game like Battlefield Heroes. I want a real good shooter with lots of strategy and humor like BF2..
But seems like they don't see any future in that, they say we don't forget the hardcore PC gamer but what do you call hardcore? They don't mean Battlefield Heroes with this?
And indeed, CoD4 is boring...I played it for few weeks and haven't touched it ever since a few months. Its funny isnt it how CoD4 is #2 most played PC game now? I don't see why, the game has no great humor like BF2 and no strategy at all

its the other way around: COD4< BF2. and S&D does require more skill than BF2

Still, CoD4 is just running around a little bit. You never feel a teamplay in that game which BF2 DOES have...So the choice is very simple for me

Indeed...CS used to be great, was a great time for years and have great memories to that game. But if you play now...it's all about camping and cheaters. I dont have the patience anymore for that
