I got a DVD, used to have files on it till they disappeared, trying to burn some more onto it but it still says it has 1.97GB of used space on it, when I open it up, theres nothing actually on the DVD though. Any way to clear it out so I can fit the whole file onto it?
Not unless it's a DVD-RW. Get a new one.
It is DVD RW.
Open it up in Nero or some other writer and try to erase it. The option should be there somewhere, I don't know the interface by memory. If that doesn't work, then you ought to just trash it and use a new one. Unless the data is valuable, you won't lose much. Besides, optical media really isn't that good for repeated use. Pick up a cheap flash drive if you have need to transfer files around a lot, a la school work.Commie Killer wrote:

Ahh ok, was just wondering if there was a simple way. Ill probably just trash it, I was just gonna overwrite it anyways.
