So it's an Intel chipset, but supports SLi? Interesting.

X58 does support SLI. nForce will skip this generation.

I don't like the word "enthusiastic" there. Usually it's a way for companies to add some hundred dollars in the product price for no specific reason.

I wonder how that will go down.  Assuming Intel let nvidia use the new socket, which I assume they will now that Nvidia caved with SLI support.  Why would anyone specifically want the nvidia made board over the (X68?) next intel based chipset.  I cant imagen there are THAT many fanboys to make it viable.

Well... for some reason I don't like this one much. It is good but... there is something that is missing...

Asus P6T Deluxe on the other hand is exactly what I want...

Why am I always put off by the PCI layout?

Extremely complicated and unnecessary Mosfet/NB/SB cooling?

It's a pretty bad layout isn't it.

Like, if one fills it with 3xGTX280's, where does one put an XFi card?

That might well be the thing that is making me not want to get it.

because money is not an issue if you can afford 3 way SLi... just water cool the gfx cards... then stick ur xfi card there. there is nothing wrong with the layout for regular ppl with max of  2 cards...

Yeah. I was being slightly sarcastic.

But, then, why have the third GPU slot?

'cept for in fah
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

Also one letter to "fag". I don't know about you, but when I think of "fag fap", I don't get happy.

In the UK, a 'fag' is a cigarette. Cigarette and a fap, what could be better? nVidia win again.

Well, over here, 'cigarette' is a synonym to 'cancer', and if you fap to cancer, you're a truly sick individual.
