What motherboard should I get for an E8400? Keep the price low. I will be getting it from Newegg.

What's the difference with the P5Q Pro and the Asus P5QL Pro (which only like £70 from OC), apart from less slots/connections etc. been looking at them for my forthcoming budget upgrade

P5QL pro is based on the the P43 chipset which is considerably worse for OCing. What CPU do you want to use?

CrossfireX Support, chipset type P43 and P45 and some "Newer" features, it seems.coke wrote:

(For anyone willing to compare: P5Q Pro, P5QL Pro)

As in the OP a E8400 oc'ing wouldn't really be to much of a concern for me (for a while at least), and it's gotta be better than my AMD 3500+max wrote:

Yeah I mainly use overclockers as they are based just a few minutes drive from mine, and pick up from there front of warehouse store. Going back to my earlier question the P5Q L Pro should be ok for what I'm looking at right? Not set in stone yet tho as I may wait until Christmas, and prices etc will change by then and will probably considering spending a bit more then too.
I can't figure out how to overclock this thing.
