The funny thing is people were recommending Q6600 over E8400 when I got my E8400 a year ago. Now its the other way around.max wrote:
Also I'd swap out the q6600 for a e8400.
Before I forget: you'll need some AS5 too
q6600 for number crunching , e8400 for gaming.Sup wrote:

once upon a midnight dreary, while i pron surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of ' hot xxx galore'. While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.
What's the (rough) AUS $ to UK £ conversion rate?
That's a pretty sweet build LBJ, but my head won't do aus$->uk£ so I dunno whether it's value-for-money.
Only thing I'd add would be a cheap floppy drive - they're cheap and you never know when you'll need one.

Ok,
i watched some reviews on some on the components.
and i was looking at this
http://itsdirect.com.au/com_products.ph … ategory=77
as a CPU cooler. It looks really big, so i was wondering if it would fit in a Antec P182 Case (with a E8400 CPU and P5Q PRO Motherboard)
