Build me a PC v2

I'm kinda goin round in circles with this, not making up my mind.

I need a PC, for about £700. Best for that money would be nice, need HDD and CD Drive, but no OS.

(My mate said he'd build it for me, he knows what he's doing.)

So guys, what can you come up with

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

No it can't. This hasn't helped me at all.

I know that I should get a P5Q Pro, 4870 and E8400. It's the other stuff like cooling and PSUs and where to get it from etc.

Can I have some links, there will be karma for your troubles?

Freezer7Pro and Corsair HX520. Maybe a TRUE-120 or a Noctua cooler is you want high OCs

1. OcUK, but they are expensive. I'd go for ebuyer or dabs.
2. There is 2GB. SLI-edition ram is just hoax. You don't need a SLI-sticker in your ram. Go for OCZ Reaper or something.
3. Any DVD-RW. Maybe Dual layer and LightScribe if you think you need.
