wow just wow you really don't know anything do you? europe has been negotiating with them for about 5 years now and to no resolution of any issues. i don't know where you get your information from, but you better start looking elsewhere..Sup wrote:

so what exactly does it mean when you allow terrorists to set up camps then do suicide bombings in other countries? is that sovereign?CameronPoe wrote:

so you let pkk to stay in Iraq and then they pass the border and ambush our soldiers, they fall back and we cant do a damn thing because northern Iraq is under control of USA. Why it isnt welcomed when our soldiers cross the border to clear pkk camps? and it is ok when you do same? what about that?usmarine wrote:

yes, but it was done with the permission of USA. of course we cant do without that you know. have you asked syria for the operation?
also if you let pkk to stay in Iraq, you cant blame syria for same action.

pkk is not attacking syria. syria is allowing attacks on iraq. al-q is there and we dealt with it. you are trying to compare the two and they are not even close. you all have had a pissing match with them for years.Ottomania wrote:

you misunderstood me. I say that pkk is located in Iraq and attacking us. According to you this means that USA is allowing pkk to attack Turkey, because pkk is in usa controlled region.usmarine wrote:

if you think so then claiming that syria is allowing attacks on Iraq is double standarts, you blame syria for the thing you do.
if you dont think so this means that syria is not responsible for attacks on Iraq, not under their control.
i didnt say syria was responsible for the attacks. but they allow al-q to operate there.
you attacked the pkk. you DID cross the border without permission, and that is a fact. i still see no real comparrison.

if you say that syria allows alquaeda to operate there, this also means that USA allows pkk to operate in Iraq.usmarine wrote:

Also we crossed border with permission, and all intel. was given by USA. if not there is no explanation of withdrawing raid at its first week, time was up.
you are making a mistake comparing your pissing match with nothern iraq to al-q. it is not even close. so, pkk is not on the list of terrorist groups as far as i can remember. so you are trying to draw a comparrison and it is not even right.Ottomania wrote:

Ottomania is right - the US can't claim any moral high ground with these attacks while the PKK attack Turkey from US occupied Iraq. By your logic usmarine the US are "allowing" the PKK to launch these attacks, when in fact I would highly doubt that; in the same way I would doubt that the Syrian Government had a clear and unified position on the activities of Al Qaeda within their territory... but then again the US are the same country that invaded an entire nation to avenge the acts of a terrorist organisation.
Basically... Syria are furious that you have compromised their sovereignty with your attack, Iraq are angry that their country is being used as a base to launch US strikes on other Arab countries and, meanwhile, the rest of the world holds its dick and prays that next Tuesday comes around as quickly as possible!

The idea that there are people who sit around and debate who goes on a special list that decides whether your brand of war is terrorism or not is simply laughable. The fact of the matter is to Turkey the PKK are a terrorist group, in the same way that the Syrians are viewed by the US. The US in this scenario are just proving once again that they like to shift the goalposts when it suits them and that the rest of the world should do as they say and not as they do.

Al-Q attacks people around the world. it is not the same. And who says the PKK are terrorists? Its a on going border war that has been going on since 1978. Both sides have attacked illegally into each others country. Christ you guys are so full of hate you are blinded by it. You would think people would be happy the US is killing al-q. but oh no, not you guys. and next tuesday? what does that have to do with anything? even obama said he would attack al-q in other countries.Braddock wrote:

i give up with you brad. no matter what the US does, you ALWYAS find some negative somehow. its getting really old.
Not always... Clinton's influence was a welcome source of diplomatic pressure in arriving at a power-sharing agreement in Northern Ireland and you did do a pretty good job in WW2 (along with the Brits and the Rooskies of course).usmarine wrote:

And it doesn't get old. Being critical when it comes to politics never gets old.

we killed al-q and you bitch about syria and compare it to a border conflict that has been going on for 30 years. get real.
syria is the #1 gateway for foreign fighters in iraq. Isnt syria kinda violating Iraq's sovereignty?

Just kidding Ottomania...... he wasn't nice! No but seriously, I am just kidding.
just ask ottomania about the armenian genocide, then tell me if you think any other opinion he has really has any value.
That's just poor policing, to be addressed through better policing. It shouldn't be relevant to Iraq in that the new Iraqi government have a responsibility to manage their borders. If Mexico start policing southern Arizona because they regard the US as being shit at it, is that ok? Plenty of Al Qaeda types in Saudi Arabia - why not send the choppers in there, eh?usmarine wrote:

I couldn't give a shit about the deaths of AQ operatives and if you did get a few like you said you did then great but rules are rules and borders aren't there just to look pretty on the map. If the US thinks it can go around violating whichever border region it likes then we are heading into murky global times... I believe it was a chap called Adolf who last went around violating borders in pursuit of some lofty higher purpose.usmarine wrote:
