I love reading the post on people complaining about how bad they have it. Look at people who play MMOs, they have more bugs/imbalance of powers/long wait times for patches than anyone who plays a shooter ever will. We really should consider ourselves lucky BF2 isn't as screwed up as half the MMOs out there. Just my opinion.

I played World of Warcraft for 13 months (Quit at the new year). EA/Dice are playing with fire when it comes to changing weapons and classes around, as anyone that's played a reguarly updated MMO with class balancing will know. Your class will go from the worst to the best, then the next class, then the next. It's a neverending pattern of unadaptable death.
I actually consider BF2 to be somewhat of an MMO though, at least an RPG. The stats, medals, ranks, and unlocks just make it a bit more advanced than a FPS.

I think BF2people are doing a great job, many people that deal with programming just let it die, but EA/DICE at least makes patches and believe it or not they listen, most of them even play. So they know what's going on, they aren't going to please everyone, but most of us are really impressed.

Yeah ,I'll never be as pissed off at a gaming company as I was twords SOE.
They screwed everyone & put a new game in its place after people had invested 2 years only to have all their valuables turn into unuseable junk , while I played only for 6 months and was finally able to reach jedi thats when all the patching problems began, like sieg said we dont have it nearly as bad.
Now you can just log on after install & instantly becaome whatever you want...weak.
