Wondering if there is another way to turn up my sounds. Right now, when watching movies in Windows Media Player, things generally are too quite. I have the sound bar thing on the bottom turned all the way up, as well as the bar on the little icon next to the time in windows. Its obviously not using anywhere near the max, as even in scenes that should be increadiblly loud, the bar the signifys the sound use is still low....if any of that makes sense...

Anyways, wondering if there was a way to fix this. I have no problem in things such as games, I often am forced to turn the sound down to 50 or below in windows. Im running Vista 64bit and have a pair of headphones though they have no sound adjuster on them.

I sometimes get this problem with some movies that I've downloaded, I normally use DFX Audio Enhancer, and turn up Hyperbass.

I think it comes free with DivX (30 day trial).

But knowing your problems with computers, I'd check if the headphones were plugged in first... j/k

Thanks man. Works good.

Is there any way to turn it above medium settings though without buying it?

Also, is there any other things I can use to do this? Such as WinAMP or something? Not really sure what that program does....

What card do you have? Maybe you can also boost sound in soundcard's driver settings.
