I dont really want to waste my life playin bf2 24/7. So i decided to do this. I would start up bf2 and pick a server, then hop on ground defence or another vehicle and then do somethin like clean my room or do my homework. Is this statspadding? Also do you think it is ok to do this?
ive got no problems with you doing your homework or cleaning your room. thats more important then bf2.
NO. It's not statspadding, especially if you don't shoot and already have those ribbons, and I bet you'll be dead in 5 seconds. IF that doesn't get you PB will with the idle. So answer is NO. And why would you start it up if you are doing other shit? Nevermind you missed the short-bus obviously.
Fine by me, as long as you don't take something like the tank or APC (something vital to the teams effort) it doesn't matter, however you'll probably get kicked for being an Idler on most servers.

That would be time padding , but I dont give a flip until I need that ground defense station.
On the bad side if you get killed & spawn up while an enemy is assualting that same base you could have a terrible death streak cause they will shoot you if your not paying attention.
Just dont worry about those crazy badges that take billions of hours if you dont want to waste your life on this game, besides you'll be kicked for inactivity or you'll just plain hurt your team.
I think denying your team purposly of a vehicle or whatever will be a violation as well of the roe.

im not tryin to violate anything im out of the way, plus i play on servers wit like 10 ppl on it, so i tak one of those vodnick or mounted mgs on the mec side in sharqui and just hang there for a while, plus almost every server ive ever been on has not idle limit, and i move my mouse like every 4 mins
Best way for that would be sit on a tow or in a car while commanding, and be a kit that you dont play as alot so as to rack up points/time towards badges.
What happens when your team needs that equipment? It may make a few people a little mad, but who cares anyway, right.
