To the OP, it's most likely an H&K HK91 (Civilian semi-auto version of the military G3. externally almost identical)

There are places to buy reproduction knock-offs of the HK91/G3 receiver, and some of the more high-dollar parts.
The miscellaneous parts can be bought from HK.

The real question is "why would you want a G3 clone?"

Arguably, the FN-FAL is more reliable, has a recoil/kick that's not so abrupt, and otherwise is functionally identical.

I don't dislike HK (I own an HK USP pistol). Anymore, though, HK is to firearms what Apple is to computers: Cool shiny toys that cost waaaaay too much for what they do - but tend to do what they do very well, if you don't mind spending a mint to get one.
