I was thinking about a booster pack sorta thing (I'm REALLY bored) and i came up with this (This is copyright of Navyseal99, email to ww2freak44@yahoo.com for permission to use)

Battlefield 2: Russian Rising

Russia has suddenly attacked the United States with nuclear missiles and already have obliterated Australia and most of Asia and Europe. The only reason the Slavic countries of Poland, Ukraine, Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia, Romania and Belarus have not been attacked yet is because of the newly discovered beryllium and uranium mines that the Russians can use to develop super tanks. The fighting so far has been fierce, and the Slavic countries are doing their best to defend their property for the cause of freedom.

This new expansion pack will include 2 new armies (The Slavic Shield and The USSR), 7 new vehicles (The T-34 {Slavic}, the F-22 {Slavic}, The AH-6 Little Bird {Slavic}, The Patrol Boat {Russian}, The Huey Gun ship and Huey Transport {Both Slavic}, and the T-80 {Russian}), 7 new weapons (The HK33, The SR-25, The AUG-Steyer Assault Rifle, The M60, The 12 gauge SPAS shotgun, The 552, and the 9mm SMG {Uzi}), and 5 new maps ( The Battle for Warsaw, The Rhine, Flyin’ High, Mountain Run, and The Motherland)
*Note: All maps are 64-player size

Someone's been playing too much Red Alert. There is no way a single country would be able to launch a bunch of nukes without receiving massive atomic retaliation in turn.

How about this, to scale things down: Japan's JSDF attacking North Korea's KPA in retaliation for a "test launch" that failed to abort in the ocean...

if russia took out europe and australia why would america just sit on its ass waiting to be attacked as well? maybe if russia did a ww2 germany type thing and invaded some of its neighbours and america steps in?

So totally far off !

Russia cant invade anything atm, their army and the country in general is in utter chaos alas one "arm" dont have a freakin clue if there is any other "body parts" around to back him up.

I would go so far as to state Russia is the country least likely to invade anything but itself !

Give us an arctic expansion - Norway invades and kicks Swedish and Finnish butts retaking Jamtland and Haerjedalen, and maybe pushing Denmark to give up Greenland that is in fact rightfully ours !!

Better yet: Canadian Mounties & illegal Mexican immigrants vs US Highway Patrol & local militias. You can have baseraping in the Cascades and the Grand Canyon.

I have been waiting for a US/MEX/CAN Border Patrol/ Coast Guard game forever. Taking out drugrunners from choppers or outrunning trucks full of contarband (Smugglers Run Memmories) would be a gret game.

Im not so sure about multiplayer though, the US/CANADA mouties and borderparol would have a SEVERE advantage.

IMHO the main problem may be that almost any scenario you come up with is just a riff on what is already there with new skins/weapons. For example - what about a scenario based on the Palestine/Israili conflict? Well, that's just the rebels vs the Spez with new skins and rocks (the Palistinians ALWAYS throw rocks).

I thought about a North vs South Korea - but again, take almost any US vs China scenario and you have the same thing.

EF is an odd pack as it really doesn't add anything new except for new skins and na accent (and just what IS that EF accent? Belgan speaking english?). Armored Fury, on the other hand, is a whole new **concept** just like Special Forces was.

The next "booster pack" should concentrate on adding whole new kits (see other threads for the Scout or maybe add a HALO jumper).

Another tack may be objective based scenarios rather than just capture the flag. Imagine Leviathan where the MEC can win & end the game by actually blowing up the sub. the Americans win by reducing the tickets to zero.

Just some thoughts. (What, is it "Be Bored Day" all over the world?)
