Hello all, you probably don't understand anything of what I just asked in the topic, but I'll try my best to explain:

My friend had hosted a lot of pictures on AOL, he hotlinked those pictures to a guide of his (example of a picture : http://members.aol.com/bigmoneyak/msg/msgbears.jpg )

Now that AOL has shutdown their picture hosting services or w/e, the pictures have now become unavailable.
Does anyone know a site that caches HOTLINKED images? I searched for them, but I'm afraid they don't exist. He also doesn't have a backup of the images anymore.

Thanks in advance

Search engines will often cache some old websites images\data for faster searching operations. But it really depends on the traffic the site had to begin with. I'd start there.

You could try Google's cache, but I think it's pretty much a lost cause.
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

I tried google cache, the text is still there (which is normal), but the hotlinked images are gone...

You answered your own question.

EDIT: And next time use Photobucket.

Heh, thanks, I wasn't really expecting to find them any more, but doesn't hurt to ask, I guess...
I use Photobucket btw, but I'll suggest it to my friend to use it too, now.
